Everyone Will Be Famous For 15 (thousand) People 
I had never heard of Internet celebrity Julia Allison before the latest issue of Wired showed up in my mail this past Saturday. After seeing her striking image on the cover, I was immediately intrigued.
Julia Allison isn't the first person to document her entire life via microblogging through services like Twitter. But, Julia may be the first Internet celebrity to have aligned herself romantically with people like Nick Denton (Gawker founder). These relationships are also heavily documented online by Julia, up to, and including, the inevitable breakup.
What Allison has achieved is impressive. She's obviously intelligent, and very media-tech savvy. She knows how to self-promote, and keep people interested in her life, and the eclectic array of friends who share it. However, there's one thing I can't help wondering; if Julia Allison looked like Ayn Rand, would she still be as popular?

Woops! An anonymous commenter brought to my attention that according to Wikipedia, Nick Denton is openly gay.
After looking at the Wired piece again, I realized my mistake, and had instead meant to link Vimeo founder Jakob Lodwick romantically to Julia. I apologize for the misinformation.

I believe Nick Denton is very openly gay and has not been in a romantic relationship with Julia Allison.
